Reprint versus first-print flags

Notes that mark whether a digital comic inside a bundle is presented as a first-print drop or as a later reprint packed for completeness.

Bundles are convenient, and convenience hides printing history. A pack may include a first digital appearance beside a later reprint of a neighbouring issue. Our flags sit beside each title so the two are not spoken of as the same object.

We copy the language used on the listing where it is clear, and we mark “unspecified” where the pack copy blurs the point. Unspecified is still useful: it tells a collector to slow down before comparing two bundles that look similar in a grid.

These flags are comparison notes for record-keeping. They are not grading certificates. Visit the contact page for the office address if you prefer to speak through the published phone line.
